I go by the name of the JENE [dʒ ɛ n eɪ], aspiring music producer who was previously known as JENMUSIC.

I started my music journey online -most specifically on YouTube- in 2019 with that alias through 2021, releasing demo/songs inspired by the Korean girl group LOONA and their worldview which englobes storylines and lore. After multiple drops and exciting projects with the group fueling the creativity behind them with the addition of various events, I decided to start anew and showcase a wider aspect of my vision as an original artist by renaming myself as JENE, a closer alternative to my name.

Prior to that experience, I grew up loving music as a child. After being enrolled in piano lessons for many years in addition of bathing in a music-driven environment, I stumbled upon the world of producing around middle school and just like that, the creativity I ignored I had got the best of me and I lightheartedly started making my own short instrumentals/remakes of popular songs by playing around, even with very limited ressources. Little did I know this would become my greatest passion in life.

I've been specializing as JENE in building my own new sound and style, which consists of morphing a basis of contemporary R&B with different genres such as early 2000's pop, drum and bass, rock music and sprinkles of techno-pop.  I also aspire through my work to aim for brillance more than ever by delivering experimental and sophisticated productions that will enhance my identity as music producer.

JENMUSIC, starting when I was on the cusp of adulthood, covered a lot of what I like to call high spirited styles of music such as synth-pop, EDM or future bass elements here and there on the first place -mostly inspired by the essence of K-pop and LOONA-, then it shifted towards a more urban and darker twist of these genres.

3 years later and as the young adult JENE, I feel the need for a rebirth in terms of music to follow the maturity and growth I''ve been - and constantly am working on. Therefore I produce my songs with the wish of reaching someone's heart by conveying a wide spectrum of emotions and feelings to anyone who come across my works.

Up until now I put out 2 singles, [VENI VIDI VIXI], a rock influenced millenium-R&B track and [Will U Ever Know?] that is R&B based with drum and bass elements creeping in. Both are lead tracks of an upcoming full length album, scheduled for release late Summer.
